Wow…quite a few African countries beat the international average of 34 days to start a business. Countries such as Egypt and Madagascar smash it the most, creating an enabling start-up environment of a mere 7 days! South Africa’s at 22 days (Acerbic commentary: that probably excludes the ability to secure finance!).
