There are pros and cons to this. Basically, don’t upset your AQP as you may never know how punitive they are till you’re in trouble. Stay on their good side and follow their advice. They are important stakeholders and partner you in your success. Obviously we’ll have to watch this space for reports of bribery and corruption. We will also need to ensure that a more complicated relationship structure does not compromise the learner experience.

My advice is to run a tight ship that operates using the correct policies and procedures. If you stay on course during all your decision-making, you will sail through any skills provider audit.
Thirdly, your training team must be supported by excellent training materials that stimulate an engaged learning experience.
The devil is in the details. Maintain consistent records of all training activities. Include formative assessment routines and minutes of staff meetings to manage program implementation. Records are related to program management, curriculum, attendance and all administrative tasks.
Follow these simple steps and you will be protected if ever you are under scrutiny. You cannot afford to be casual. That is the nature of education and training. It is intensely quality-driven or should be.
