What Courses Are Offered at Majuba TVET College?
Situated in Newcastle, Northern KwaZulu-Natal, the College plays a significant role in preparing students for the world of work, particularly in local industries. Majuba offers the Ministerial programmes such as the National Certificate (Vocational) and Report 191 (N1-N6). In addition, the College offers NQF-aligned Learnerships, Skills Programmes and Apprenticeship Training in collaboration with Business and Industry.
Study Agriculture at MTC
Because MTC has a 2-hectare farming area, Agriculture students gain hands-on practical skills. A fully operational hydroponics production system has also been set up in the farming practical area. Therefore students can do practical training for vegetable production. Since the system imitates those used by modern-day farmers and horticulturists, students are groomed for current industry practices.
